Here is where you can run the demo software.  For the most part, the demo is the full blown system.

User Training PowerPoint tutorials give you step-by-step instructions for running the software.  The best place to start is to run the PowerPoint training tutorial file named "Getting Started" and "Starting a New Project."  The remaining tutorials cover each basic system function, from setting up a parts catalog, to requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, issuing to production, etc.

PERCEPTION Training Tutorials

To begin using the software, following the instructions outlined in “Getting Started.”  Click on the “P” (Project) button on the tool bar and retrieve existing projects on the demo database.  Under contract named “SHIP REPAIR”, is a sample cost estimate.  Other samples of ship repair and new construction contracts also are provided. 

Under contract named “WBS-Various” are a variety of different work breakdown structures.  If any of these correlate with your own WBS, they may be copied to your project.  This saves quite a lot of data entry.
