ESTI-MATE's Data Analysis Online Tutorial

We have now completed the preliminary tutorial on DAM.  By now, you are aware that we have only touched the basics and that Axum has many other capabilities that may be useful to you.  Given practice, self-study, and use of the Axum tutorial, you will be able to expand your DAM skills considerably.  And it won’t take long.

Axum’s User’s Guide explains their training approach: a Quick Tour (like the one you’ve just had), an In-Depth Tour, and a Summary of Basic Procedures.  A half dozen complex databases are provided with the software to use with the tutorial.  The User’s Guide is very readable and contains excellent general chapters about exploratory Data Analysis, Editing Graphics, Statistics, and the like.  There is a special chapter explaining use with other applications like PowerPoint.

We highly recommend that you make full use of the User’s Guide with tutorials and informative chapters.  This will not only make you more proficient in use of ESTI-MATE, but will also broaden your cost estimating skills and understanding of Data Analysis and Statistics.
